My Three Favorite Memories at School

This year I have made many memories at school, but these are my three favorite. My first favorite memory is pajama day. I love wearing my pajamas to school because I am super comfy. My second favorite memory was when we had fun assembly’s. I love to see all the funny skits that asb bring us. My last favorite memory was the night at the museum. This was super fun because I got to see all my friends and got to explain my project to everyone. Overall I had a lot of fun at my school but these are some of the memories that stick out to me the most.

The Way You Think of Things

This image has a very strong message. The way I interpreted the boy on the left side was that he got so many toys he wanted, so was never happy with them because he thought they weren’t good enough. He always wanted something new so he was sad when he couldn’t get everything he wanted. The way I interpreted the boy on the right is that he usually didn’t get toys. So when he got one toy he was very happy about it. Even thought the toy wasn’t the nicest or the newest he did care. He just was so glad that he had a toy. The way I relate to this picture is because I see people who have a lot of cool things, yet they complain they do not have enough. This is like the boy on the left. I know people who are super excited to get one thing even if it isn’t the best quality which is like the boy on the right. Overall you should just be very grateful for whatever you get.

My Favorite Room

My favorite room in my house is my bedroom. The first reason why it is my favorite room is because I have a very comfortable bed in my room. My bed is also big which makes it very good for hanging out and sleepovers. The second reason why my bedroom is my favorite room is because it has its own bathroom. This means that I get to have all my stuff in my own bathroom without having to share a bathroom. The last reason why it is my favorite room in the house is because I have a big closet. My closet fits all my clothes, shoes, books, and any more random items. My closet still has extra room for more items.

Baking and Cooking – 20% Project, Week 4

For week for a my 20% project I decided to make chocolate chip cookies. I used the nestle recipe on the back of the bag of chocolate chips. This recipe calls for flour, baking soda, salt, butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, vanilla extract, eggs, and chocolate chips. A accomplishment I had was that a lot of people said that the cookies were delicious. My mom also told me that this was my grandmas favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe. A struggle I had was that I didn’t take the cookies and parchment paper off the pan so the cookies were a little too hard and not as soft as I wanted them to be. If I were to make this recipe again I would probably add more chocolate chips because some of the cookies were lacking it. For next week I want to make a meal item because I have mostly been making desserts.

Baking/Cooking – 20% Project, Week Three

For this week I made pumpkin chocolate chip cookies. For this recipe I used flour, sugar, brown sugar, an egg, baking soda, baking powder, chocolate chips, pumpkin purée, and oats. This week was a success because the pumpkin chocolate chip cookies were so delicious that my mom ate almost all of them. I also had a friend bike over to get some, but my mom ate all of them by the time she got to my house. For this week I did not have any struggles because my mom happily agreed to get all of the ingredients. For next time I make this recipe I would probably add more chocolate chips because I think it would taste better that way. For week four I am going to cook a meal. I am thinking about making a soup, but that could change. I might make something else because I know I am going to do a lemonade stand so I might make brownies for that.

Baking/Cooking – 20% Project, Week 2

For week 2 of my 20% project I decided to make chicken salad. This salad consisted of chicken, celery, onions, mayonnaise, mustard, and seasoning. I did not follow a recipe for this, but it still turned out delicious. This salad was made by first cutting the celery and onions and put them in a large bowl. I then got the chicken and also put it in the bowl. I then did a big spoonful of mayonnaise and mustard. I then added salt, pepper, and garlic powder. I mixed all of the ingredients together and my salad was done. A struggle I had was finding a recipe. I was originally going to make a miso soup. I could not get these ingredients so I had to improvise with ingredients from home. For next week I would like to make a dessert. I was thinking making brookies, or maybe pumpkins oatmeal chocolate chip cookies.

20% Project #1: Baking and Cooking

For this week of my 20% project I baked a lime pie moouse recipe. Some things I accomplished was using my resources, making two parts of it at once, and making whipped cream. I used my new immersion blender that my sister got me to whip the whipped cream. I had to make the moouse and graham cracker crumble at the same time. I also learned how to make whipped cream with heavy whipping cream and powdered sugar. A struggle I had was that I did not have a food processor that I needed to blend the graham crackers. I overcame this problem by crushing them by hand. This took longer then it would have to use a food processor, but it did the job. Next time I bake/cook I am going to make sure I have all the necessary equipment for recipe. Next week I am going to try a cooking recipe which I am very excited for.

Dinner

If I could choose any three people to go the dinner with it would be Twiggy, Adriana Lima, and, Gisele Bündchen. Twiggy is a super model from the sixties. She is the one who introduced the super skinny look to modeling. I would like to ask her how it feels to be very influential. I would also like to ask if she has any regrets with modeling. Adriana Lima is a super model from the 90s to 2000s. I would like to ask her how she feels that people don’t look at her the same. People have been criticizing her looks since she got pregnant. I would like to ask her how she feels about that. Lastly Gisele Bündchen is a super models from 1900s to mid 2000s. I would like to ask her how she feels that people tell her she has the best walk in the business. That is a great honor and I wonder how she feels about it.

I Want to be a Neurosurgeon

My dream job is to be a neurosurgeon. The reason why this is my dream job is because this job makes a lot of money. The average neurosurgeon makes around 654,401 dollars in the United States. The second reason why I want to be a neurosurgeon is because the job isn’t super popular. Starting lawyers have been making less money then lawyers when they were in that same position. This is because there are many lawyers. So the it is much easier to find a lawyer which makes the prices go down. This competition between booking a job as a lawyer has made lawyers have to lower their price. This job is less likely with a neurosurgeon because there are not too many. Lastly I would like to be a neurosurgeon because they help people. When you get referred to a neurosurgeon and they do their work on you their is a probability that they saved your life. I would like to grow up knowing that I could and can save someone’s life.

Spring Break

For spring break a lot happened. First I started it off with multiple sleepovers. Sometimes with 3 people sometimes with 2 people and sometimes with 1 person. Every night we would stay up late, eat candy, and watch movies. One of the nights we toilet papered a house. We got caught and had to clean in up though. I had a volleyball tournament over the weekend also. I finished a couple movies and baked a bunch. It was also my birthday over spring break to I hung out with some friends. I used the money from my birthday to do online shopping for clothes. Overall it was a very fun spring break.
